Parenting: Stuff I've Learned

It's difficult to do this without sounding arrogant. Especially using the medium of the written word, but I really do mean this kindly, gently and sincerely, without personal horn-tooting.

I love being a mom. I have learned a lot over the years about what works and what doesn't work. On behalf of those who might be lost, confused or ignorant of these few things I might know, I want to share my limited wisdom. I don't know it all, my kids are not perfect and I certainly am not the perfect mother, but I feel like the Lord has blessed me with a few innate ideas and methods that might be of benefit to others as well.

First of all, I highly recommend all parents read these two books: Christlike Parenting and Parenting With Love and Logic I also recommend taking a Love and Logic class. A few times. I learned a great deal from both of these resources that helped me through some tricky parenting situations and helped me establish some standards for myself as a mother.
