Secret Secrets

Isn't it funny the things we keep secret?
Here are a few of mine Shhhh, don't tell:
  • My embarrassingly gluttonous sweets consumption.
  • I'm ashamed of just how disorganized the cabinet above my desk is. Also my pantry, fridge, file drawer and desk drawer. Ouch. Bad bad bad.
  • Sometimes I let my kids go play when they're grounded. Just to get them out of my hair for a few hours.
  • I have used the TV and junk food to deal with depression, boredom, loneliness, and just for fun.
  • I sometimes dream about celebrities. Not in a naughty, "fantasy" way. They're just... there. Recently, I dreamed myself into an episode of BBC's Sherlock. I was super disappointed that I woke up.
  • Once in a while, when I'm not working, I don't get dressed. All day. And I sleep in those same clothes.
  • I haven't washed my windows or walls in YEARS.
  • I make fun of other drivers. Especially the nose-pickers.
  • I often let my kids have dessert, even if they didn't eat their vegetables.
  • I hide candy and salt & vinegar Pringles in my nightstand drawer. My kids know about it; they also know what happens to children who steal.
  • Sometimes I listen to that song from Portal over and over. I can't explain why. I can't even play that game (I get too dizzy.) But that song... I want to memorize it.
  • I pretend I know about things that I don't. Sometimes I don't remember things I've been told, and other times, I just want the conversation to end so badly that I nod even when I'm drawing a blank. I wonder if that counts as lying...
  • Sometimes I pretend to be listening when I'm not.
  • Sometimes I pretend to be interested when I'm not.
  • I hold in a LOT of swear words.
  • Sometimes they slip out under my breath.
  • I can growl.
So, what secrets are you keeping that you want to get off your chest?? Here's your chance.

Oh my gosh! Still laughing ... I knew we were meant to be friends. So many of those secrets are my own as well ... especially mocking nose pickers ... every single time. You are fantastic! Thanks for the smiles, my friend.
